    First a relaunch tool, then a monitoring platform

    searchVIU started out as a tool for website relaunches. Customers also wanted to know after go-live whether everything was right. Step by step, it turned into a monitoring platform.

    1. 2016Development begins

      searchVIU compares the test and live website directly with each other.

    2. 2017Launch

      Launch with JavaScript rendering for every single page.

    3. 2018SEMY Award “SEO Software Innovation”

      Awarded for the migration tool. By the end of the beta, around 750 companies and agencies had used searchVIU and crawled over 70 million URLs with it.

    4. 2020New crawler

      The crawler is rebuilt from the ground up for larger websites.

    5. 2021The relaunch tool becomes a monitoring platform

      Ongoing checks, alerting, robots.txt monitoring and log file analysis are added.

    6. 2025AI monitoring

      searchVIU queries answers from ChatGPT automatically.

    7. 2026New platform

      With report builder, workflows, MCP server and AI assistant. Page Watch checks the most important pages continuously, and redirect mapping is added.

    8. 2026ISO/IEC 27001:2022

      Certified since 14 September 2026.
